Protecting UAE Exports Against International Investigations

The Ministry of Economy exerts tremendous efforts to protect the UAE exports and address any measures against UAE exports in international markets, including trade defence investigations and increase in duties that may affect the export performance. It provides necessary support to the affected UAE industries to help them get through these investigations and avoid any trade protectionist tariffs.

The Ministry of Economy Cooperates with WTO Committees

The Ministry of Economy actively participates in the works of the committees of the World Trade Organization (WTO), and presents its concerns on the investigations brought against UAE exports in an arbitrary manner during regular meetings of these committees. This move aims to record the position of the country regarding trade protectionist fees in the official minutes of the meeting of the WTO and to provide the countries concerned with all the required clarifications and defences so as to close the investigations.
