Drivers may hear a grinding or clicking noise from the front of the vehicle. If the vehicle unexpectedly loses propulsion and/or mechanical park, there is increased risk of a crash or roll-away.
Instructions of Use for PreventionIf special instructions are provided, they will be communicated to our customers through our dealers.
ProcedureGM is currently developing a remedy for this condition. The remedy and parts required to carry out the recall repairs are not available with GM dealers yet. Once the remedy and/or sufficient quantity of parts is available, the recall bulletin will be released, and dealers can begin repairing vehicles. We will communicate another notification letter to you once the recall activity commences.
