| Defect Description | In the affected vehicles, the secondary engine mounted fuel filter may have a void located on the top center portion of the filter housing and may progress to a pinhole leak. Vehicles with a pinhole leak may exhibit a noticeable fuel smell, a visible fuel leak and/or an illuminated check engine light. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may increase the risk of fire and injury. |
| Procedure | Al Tayer Motors and Premier Motors will contact their respective customers to inform them about this recall, and ask them to bring in their cars to fix the problem for free by replacing the primary and secondary fuel filters, and the two companies will do their best to do so while creating comfort for customers within the short period required Perform this process.
