| Defect Description | In some of the recalled cars, the transmission shifter cable bushing may be damaged or missing, A damaged or missing could prevents the shifter from moving the transmission to the intended gear position. even though the shifter position indicates that the vehicle was shifted to park the transmission may not be in the park position this condition could allow a customer to tum the vehicle off and exit it with no instrument panel warning message or warning chime in dicating the vehicle is not secured in park this could result in unintended vehicle movement increasing the risk of injury or crash. |
