Foreign Entity branch amendment

This service allows an entity to amend the registration of a foreign entity branch.

Service Fees

Service fee: AED 1,500


Note:

  • An amendment fine fee of AED 200 per month shall be charged after one month from the date of the amendment.

Conditions and Requirements

    • The request shall be submitted within one month from the date of amendment to the entity's data.
    • The required documents shall be duly attested.

Required Documents

    • A copy of the trade name reservation certificate from the Concerned Authority (in case of amending the company's name).
    • Appendix for amending the service agent contract (in case of amending the company name).
    • A copy of the certificate or extract from the Concerned Authority in the country in which the entity was established (in case of amending the name of the company, the company's capital, the names of the company's owners, the legal form of the company and the company's activity).
    • A copy of the initial approval certificate from the Concerned Authority in case of amending the activity.
    • A copy of the new Service Agent Contract and/or a copy of the termination of the previous Service Agent Contract in case of a service agent amendment.
    • A copy of the agent's ID, if the agent is an individual or the owner of a sole proprietorship. If the agent is a company, a copy of the company's trade license and an appendix of the names and identities of the partners shall be attached.
    • A copy of the lease contract (in case of amending the branch address).
    • A copy of the authorization issued by the parent entity of the new manager (in case of amending the manager).
    • A copy of the passport (in case of amending the manager).
    • A copy of a new bank guarantee from one of the banks operating in the country (in case of changing the bank).

Steps and Procedures

    • Choose the service from the list of E-Services.
    • Sign in with UAE PASS.
    • Fill in the application data and attach documents.
    • Ensure the correctness of the entered data and attached documents and send a message to the customer to complete the missing data (if any).
    • Accept or reject the request and send a message to the entity through the electronic system.
    • Pay the fees (AED 1,500).
    • If the subject of the amendment is the name of the entity, an announcement shall be published according to the approved Ministry form in one of the local magazines issued in Arabic for one time only.
    • The request shall be accepted in the register after one week from the date of publication.
    • In the event of changing the bank guarantee, the changed guarantee shall be issued by a letter addressed to the bank issuing the guarantee delivered to the representative of the entity attached to the original of the issued guarantee.
