| Defect Description | These vehicles have a condition in which the fuel pump module may not consistently provide sufficient fuel to the engine. If the engine does not receive adequate fuel, the vehicle may stall. A vehicle stall could increase the risk of a crash. Drivers may see a check engine light or experience engine hesitation. The vehicle may not start. |
| Instructions of Use for Prevention | If special instructions are provided, they will be communicated to our customers through our dealers |
| Procedure | Dealers will replace the vehicles’ fuel pump module. The remedy and parts required to carry out the recall repairs are not available with GM dealers yet. Once the remedy and/or sufficient quantity of parts is available, the recall bulletin will be released, and dealers can begin repairing vehicles. We will communicate another notification letter to you once the recall activity commences. |
