| Defect Description | The affected Infiniti FX35/FX45 (S50) MY06-MY08 replaced with the JSS production passenger air bag module in the past TAKATA recall (recall R1622), hence this recall is not related to TAKATA airbag recalls. Due to a manufacturing defect, the internal pressure may increase unexpectedly during air bag deployment in high temperature. In this condition, the cushion may tear during airbag deployment and occupant protection performance may not be meet design intent. No incident occurred in the market for this issue. |
| Procedure | “Arabian Automobiles" and "Al-Masaood Automobiles" will start repairing and replacing the parts that need to be changed and doing the necessary free. For further clarification, customer are requested to contact the “Arabian Automobiles/Al Masaood Automobiles Customer Care Centre on 800-46346484/024492596 from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm or e-mail: crm@ awrostamani.com/feedback@masaood.com |
