| Defect Description | The Hybrid Control Processor (HCP) on about 63,200 of the above vehicles requires a software update. The engine may fail to start at the end of a stop start event. Engine can be restarted immediately but a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P1C64- Engine Speed Below Target During Auto start will be set, and the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) will b illuminated. |
| Procedure | The recall action will be to reprogram the HCP with the latest available software then clear any DTCs. This will be done free of charge. Every effort will be made to minimize any inconvenience caused during the short time required for the work to be carried out. For Further clarification, customers are requested to contact the Trading Enterprises, Customer Care Centre on 8005119 from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Saturday.
