| Defect Description | The Antilock Brake System (ABS) control module software on some of the above vehicles may prevent the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) telltale lamp from properly displaying under certain conditions. Unexpected performance of the ESC system with no warning to the driver can cause a vehicle crash without prior warning. |
| Procedure | The recall action will be to reprogram the ABS control Module with the latest software level. If the software update for a 2022 model year vehicle is unsuccessful and cannot be reprogrammed, an order for an ABS module will be placed. This will be done free of charge. For more information, please contact the Customer Service Center of "Trading Enterprises" At: 8005119 Monday to Saturday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM |
