Foreign Entity Branch Registration

This service allows registering a foreign Entity; whereby the Entity must submit a request to the Ministry of Economy within one month from the date of issuing the license by the concerned authority, via the MoE's website.

Service Fees

Service fees: AED 7,500

Note:

The registration fine fee of AED 100,000 shall be charged one month after the date of issuance of the license.

Conditions and Requirements

The entity shall not have branches registered with the Ministry, to ensure that the branches of the entity in the country are linked to a single registration number.
The entity shall sign in to the Ministry's website for registration, within one month from the date of issuance of the license by the concerned authority, and provide the Ministry with all the required documents.
The required documents shall be duly attested.

Required Documents

A copy of the economic license issued by the concerned authority.
A copy of the authorization granted to the responsible manager to open a branch of a foreign entity or a duly certified representative office.
A copy of the passport of the responsible manager.
A letter of appointment from an auditing office registered with the Ministry of Economy to audit the annual budget, except for representative offices.

Sign in with UAE PASS.

Fill in the application data and attach documents.

Ensure the correctness of the entered data and attached documents and send a message to the customer to complete the missing data (if any).

Accept or reject the request and send a message to the entity through the electronic system, indicating the reasons for the rejection.

Pay the service fee (AED 7,500).

Issue a registration certificate valid for one year, and renewed annually.
