| Defect Description | Volkswagen AG has established that on several Teramont vehicles with V6 petrol engine under certain circumstances the current engine control unit software can cause a thermal stress and premature ageing of the catalytic converter. This can cause a malfunction in the exhaust system, which is only shown to the customer by the engine warning lamp. |
