MoE’s Laws and Regulations

This resolution aims to regulate the convening of general assemblies; whereby a co-op society board – pursuant to the provisions of the resolution – must furnish the Ministry of Economy, at least one month in advance of the date of convening the annual ordinary general assembly, with its report outlining the co-op society’s current and future projects, general budget for the ending fiscal year and the audited financial statements. The resolution also outlines the mandates and obligations of ordinary and extraordinary general assemblies, and details all matters pertaining to meetings, general assembly resolutions, the agenda, the invitation, attendance and minutes of meeting. This is in addition to the conditions and requirements for convening general assembly meetings through remote attendance technologies.
